Surrendering

Surrender, or the process of, is not looking to see if you have surrendered, or what part of you has surrendered; it is the state of surrendering.

In that state of surrendering, it is the loosening of our grasp of our mind, the present moment awareness of surrendering to the present moment.

Surrendering can be likened to using a mantra; not really saying the word "surrender" repeatedly but being aware of that which you are doing.

Consenting, allowing is going downstream.  It is non resistance to change within.  It is the only logical course of action to take.  Trying to figure out why, or solving the issue of these feelings is resistance itself!

Undress me

Waiting for God

In Contemplative prayer, waiting for God is the act of surrender and the anticipation that God is here working with you and through you even though you do not feel anything.

When you wait for someone, you know they are coming yet you sit and wait for their presence.

Waiting takes a higher form of faith.  This higher form is the actual extension of the spiritual faculties which takes you beyond physical sensations.  This waiting transcends the physical and opens another door.

All the while God is whispering to us, telling us She is here.
