This retreat is about Willingness and forgiveness. It’s about getting through and letting go of the blocks that prevent us from feeling the love and security that we all are.

While applying the ideology of A Course in Miracles and in conjunction with Centering prayer; you will learn how to sit in Silence and allow Source to bring up the energy that has been buried from the past. With a little willingness on your part, Source will remove the barriers and scars of years gone by and will allow you to be the Self that you always have been.

This is the process and form that was taught to me in Silence and this is what healed my mind the most. This is an interactive retreat with periods of meditation and discussion from A Course In Miracles.

The retreat will be held at The Joshua Tree Center http://jtrcc.org/retreat.htmlwhich is located at 59700 29 Palms Hwy, Joshua Tree, CA 

The retreat starts on Friday 1/22/10 at 6:00 PM and will end on Sunday 1/24/10 at Noon.

Price includes lodging, class and meals. Dinner on Friday, breakfast lunch and dinner on Saturday, breakfast on Sunday.

All rooms have air conditioning and bathrooms.

· $500 per person for shared accommodations

· $650 for private accommodations

The desire for love and intimacy in others is the actual
Calling of Love and Intimacy from Source within. Go to that Love and Intimacy. Search for it Within yourself. BE IN IT. Sit IN IT. Lose yourself in the feeling of Rapture!

Don’t be so fast to look for others to give you that feeling
of love and intimacy-- For they cannot!

 Looking outside yourself is likened to a dog chasing her tail.

 Be brave enough to face the fear that truly no one can give you that love: for how can someone give you something that you already are?

Dig Deep brave Warrior. Find it, Face it and BE IT.

The memory of holding you close            

Takes me to the Desire to be held by you again

Breathing our same Breath

Lost in your arms

Makes me Desire you more

Remembering what It was like

Being  in your Presence

Taken out of time

Falling deeper down the hole

There are times in our lives where we feel an inner need to do something “spiritual”. We feel the need to talk about our spirituality. We may even feel the need to read a spiritual book or simply light a candle.  These are moments when we are looking for a bit of inspiration yet we tend to look at someone else’s experience instead of our own.

What is this? What is behind this feeling? I call it Divine Compression. Source is within you, outside of you, basically all around you. Source lovingly brings us closer to ourselves, within ourselves, through a form of compression. Taking our attention outside of ourselves and placing it at our center, on the inside. Instead of looking at someone else’s experience for inspiration, take the time to listen to the gentle calling of Source and sit quietly for awhile.

In time you will find there is a form of silent accompaniment and stillness as you move through these motions. This is Divine fellowship.

Divine Compression is a gentle whisper in our ear, ever so lovingly calling us home. Calling on us to place our attention and intention inwards and just listen. It is a sense of stillness and peace. It is dropping inwards and sitting. It is taking us from our perceived present emotional situation and putting our focus on our ever present awareness, transforming us gradually and reminding us who we truly are.

My awareness is

Utter one pointedness

No longer referencing myself

Aware of the awareness

Contemplating emptiness

In the backdrop of a continuous climax

How lovely it is

To see mySelf in you

Being reminded of the Beauty

That we are in

the Emptiness of the dream

I slowly breathe in

You keep calling me

I cannot hear You

Yet I do not see You

I cannot touch You

Yet YOU have touched me

Opening myself to You

Penetrated by your embrace

I surrender my soul to You

Worked through to exhaustion

Lovingly taken to ecstasy

I Swell

No one to kiss

No one to hold

The pain of separation

Brings me closer to Your blade

That cuts me deep

Lets me bleed

Ever lovingly being embraced

I surrender

To allow

To be Severed more

To be Divinely Whole Again
